dc.description.abstract The systematics and autecology of the diatoms observed in an algal sample from a maturation pond of the Walvis Bay (south west African coast) sewage works are discussed. Fourteen diatoms species are recorded. A new specie, Amphora subacutiuscula, is described. en_US
