dc.description.abstract This study presents the results of a practical investigation into the robustness of the newly developed Military Extremity (MiL-Lx) lower leg, as compared to the Hybrid III (HIII) lower leg, with respect to repeatability and reproducibility under typical mine-protected vehicle landmine blast load conditions. Tests were performed using the Lower Limb Impactor (LLI) on both the MiL-Lx leg and the Hybrid III leg, and the relative responses compared. The results show that the MiL-Lx leg appears to be robust and reproducible, and not as much influenced by the addition of boots and angled impact than the Hybrid III leg. en
