In this paper, the authors develop a concept for mobile programming. Mobile tools for Hetbeans (MobiNET) design would support the development of mobile applications for various mobile phones. The authors evaluate Netbeans as a development tool and drawing from insights gained in interviews with mobile software developers, conceptualise MobiNET. A working prototype is discussed and evaluated.
