AFRICON is the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) Region 8 flagship conference on the African continent. IEEE AFRICON 2021 was virtually held in Arusha, Tanzania from Monday the 13th to Wednesday the 15th of September 2021. The Theme of AFRICON 2021 was: ”Contributing to the Industrialisation of Africa through Innovations in Science and Technology”. Coincidentally, the theme of AFRICON 2021 fits well with the Tanzanian government vision 2025: ”Nurturing Science and Technology Led Industrialisation for Economic Transformation and Human Development”.
